At The Dirty Oar, our journey began with a deeply personal mission: to combat skin cancer.

After I was diagnosed with skin cancer, I realised the urgent need for more education on sun safety, especially for those who love spending time outdoors.

This inspired us to create high-quality, stylish fishing gear that offers maximum sun protection. But we didn’t stop there—knowing the impact skin cancer has on countless lives, we committed to donating a percentage of all sales to skin cancer research.

Our goal is to not only keep our customers safe in the sun but also to support the vital work being done to find a cure. Together, we're fishing with a mission, making every catch count towards a brighter, healthier future.
